Dove Summer Glow Tanning Lotion, a Review

I wanted to do a review on this product a long time ago but never got round to doing it. And i have to say i seriously should as it's definitely one of my favourite products out there.
It is basically a lotion with subtle self tanner that makes you gradually build up a nice fake tan that is not orangey whatsoever.
I have fair skin that is very sensitive and especially during the summer, going out and sunbathing is not the best option as i get burnt quite easily. And this came at the right time and can be described as a life saver.
There are only good things to be said about Dove's Summer Glow:

  • It doesn't stink like the usual self tanners do. There may be a hint of self tanner smell but overall it smells okay.

  • You get a gradual, non orangey tan.

  • You can build it up according to your liking(some people use the medium/dark one to have more obvious results)

  • Apart from the tan, it gives you a really nice glow.

  • It doesn't fade out quickly and when it does, there are no steaks

  • It is also a moisturising cream that leaves your skin feeling hydrated and moisturised.

  • All in all, i think this product is just LOVE.
I am actually thinking of using it during the winter, as it makes me look beautifully tanned and healthy with a nice glow.

To end this, i really think that everyone should try it as im sure it'll give you the best of results.

Fashion Week s/s 10 favourites: London

I secretly loved all of the collection from London i think they were fantastic and well put together. But of course, few of them stand out to me.

    1. Burberry Prorsum
THE highlight of the week. I was lucky enough to watch this online and felt completely in love with it the moment i saw the first outfit. Chris Bailey certainly did a good job. With a palette of beige/nudes and pastels, Burberry remains true to its roots, as a classic world-known British brand.

    2.Luella
She never stops to amaze me with her girly, vintage with a modern twist clothes. And i simply loved this collection and i suppose you can guess why.:)

Fashion Week s/s 10 favourites: NY

To be completely honest i was left being very disappointed with the majority of the collections. Except for a few, the collections were nowhere near inspiring to me.
But with the bad goes the good so here are my favourite collection from NYC.

    1. Marc by Marc Jacobs
I love this collection. Seriously. The colours, the patterns, the accessories, even the shoes were perfect in this collection. Some may disagree and say Topshop will be very happy about this collection but i would have to say that it's the one and only collection i would actually wear every single outfit from. Thus the bigger collage.:P

    2. Dona Karan

She never fails to amaze me. Whatever she designs has a class to it which i actually adore in comparison to other American designers. I especially liked the pastel colours and sometimes bold ones. Full stop.

    3. Proenza Schouler
They are said to design sporty and athletic clothes, but for the past two seasons Proenza Schouler are in my top 10 designers:) The rest is obvious:)

    (all images were taken from:style.com)

I will do another post regarding fashion week next week after London is finished. I hope they'll be better collections(as the hint from the first few of them is actually breath-taking)than NY.

    See you,

    Inspiration: SATC

I'm very sorry that my posts have been very sporadic these past couple of weeks. School has started and is pretty much taking my whole time as it's the last year of school(aka uni preparation).
On another note, i will try and do more posts this week that include hauls and reviews(yay!)

So this is my current inspiration. I love Carrie Bradshaws' room. I know it may be made up for the series, but let's be honest, what kind of girl would NOT want to live in a house like that? In all honesty, i wouldn't want to live in such a house when i'll be in my late 40s or 50s but it certainly would make a beautiful home for my 20s-30s! What do you think?

A "the day that school starts" haul.

    Gosh, what a title!:P
So as you might be aware school has started here, and i have to say i'm really excited about that.
So after the first day at school, and after hanging out with my friends, i went to get Diors lip balm and to check Mac's latest collections.
    So here's my haulage:)

This is what i think of the products. This is more of my initial thoughts rather than a review. I will do a full review on the lip balm though in a few days.:)

Dior Addict 'Lip Glow' Color Reviver Balm, MAC marble lipglass in Eclectic Edge
I have to say that I LOVE the lip balm. It is supposed to revive the natural colour of your lips. Now, i don't know if it does that, but it surely has the prettiest rosy colour on my lips. And it's quite moisturizing for my lips as well. And you know my lips, always dehydrated and chapped.
The marble lipglass was given to me using mac friends, and i was really excited to get this because when the colour craft collection came out, i only got the things that i really wanted and marble lipglasses weren't among the things that i wanted.
So was excited to try this out, as it has a beautiful, mauvey-plum with a dash of pink colour to it and looks great on my lips:)

MAC blush in Springsheen, MAC quad in Photo Realism(Make up art cosmetics collection)
I wanted to get this blush for literally AGES. It seemed to me that everybody got this and they said this was a great blush and stuff like that, so i wanted to have this in my collection. It's a really cute coral and perfect for everyday. I also find this very similar to Style blush but it's a bit more sheer and has more gold running through it. Which is something i really like. This is definitely going to be in my favourites considering Style is my all time favourite blush. :)
The quad, i haven't used yet but i was really pleased that i got green eyeshadows because i barely have any.
The make up lady had this quad on her eyes and looked gorgeous, and i though that's a really pretty smokey eye. So i got it.

So this is my haul. I hope you enjoyed it. And i can honestly say that this is the kind of haul that i really really like because, it consists of things that i really need or like.

So have a great weekend and i'll talk to you soon!!!

    Weight Loss

    Hello guys!!!
I was inspired and encouraged but the lovely Kelly, otherwise known as Kelanjo19(youtube & blog) to start talking about my weight and weight loss.

So when i was younger i was never the supper skinny type of girl but i was quite thin. A factor could be swimming, i used to go swimming for 12 years. But then i gave up which is another story. So after i quit swimming i started gaining weight.
I started gaining so much that at some point i weighed 16.37 stone otherwise 104 kg.
I knew i had to do something. So i took the decision and went to my dietitian's.
This happened in April. After a few months of having a good diet i now weigh 13.22 stone otherwise 84 kg.I am quite pleased with that actually. But i know i have at least 3 months in front of me to keep losing weight and achieve my goal. That is to weigh 9.22 stone(60 kg)
The ideal for my height would be 8.97 stone(57 kg)
So i decided that i will inform you every week, as to how am in doing.

I tell you i'm really excited about it.

    August Favourites!

Ok i cannot believe how fast time passes. It's the beginning of September and i can't believe that i will be going to school next week. So a rather belated August Faves post is on it's way:)

Now these eyeshadows, Phloof! and Fashion.
Fashion i got recently and i fell in love with it the moment i saw it. It's the kind of blue the compliments my eyes the most. I love love love this colour.

Phloof! on the other hand is another favourite of mine because it's a sort of like between colour in All that glitters, naked lunch and nylon. Perfect as a highlight and beautiful as all over the lid colour. I usually wear this with Sable on the outer corner which looks lovely.

    Underage lipglass and Cubic blush.
I never really thought i could pull off a very nude, very pale lip colour but you know what? I actually do. Underage itself is quite sheer so i'm applying it over creme d'nude and it looks very milky, very tasty, and with a tan, incredibly sexy :P

I was actually inspired by lollipop26 to get the Cubic blush. And she was absolutely right. It is perfect when applied on the apples of your cheeks after you have applied your bronzer. Amazing.

Costa Chic, Chatterbox, Girl About Town.
Now these lipsticks i've been wearing very often the last couple of weeks of August. I mean i have used snob and saint germain and angel and stuff but these were pretty, summery colours that i really liked. They even make my mood:)

And also, not pictured seperately but the body shop body butter(in raspberry)is in my opinion a staple in every girls skin care kit. This thing is SO moisturising!!!

And as a Thursday treat, here's a FOTD
